In an era flooded with AI generated content, Tina Kapp-Kailea helps experts turn experience into books that earn lasting trust.

For years, many professionals carry the same quiet ambition. They know they have valuable experience to share, ideas that have shaped careers, businesses, and lives, yet the book they have imagined never seems to move beyond scattered notes or a folder on a laptop. When those people arrive at Tina Kapp-Kailea’s door, they are rarely short of knowledge. More often, they are searching for clarity. They know they want to write a book, but they are not yet sure what that book should truly say, who it should reach, or how it should fit into the bigger picture of their work. […]

Tina, appreciate you joining us today. Coming up with the idea is so exciting, but then comes the hard part – executing. Too often the media ignores the execution part and goes from idea to success, skipping over the nitty, gritty details of executing in the early days. We think that’s a disservice both to the entrepreneurs who built something amazing as well as the public who isn’t getting a realistic picture of what it takes to succeed. So, we’d really appreciate if you could open up about your execution story – how did you go from idea to execution?

I didn’t start Book Mystic just as an idea to try. I started it because I tried to write my own book and completely fell apart. […]

An Inspired Chat with Tina Kapp-Kailea of The Femmepreneur

We recently had the chance to connect with Tina Kapp-Kailea and have shared our conversation below.

Tina, we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: What’s more important to you—intelligence, energy, or integrity?
Hands down integrity – as soon as I feel like I am being asked or pulled into something that goes against mine then I’m out. Finding the courage to show up authentically has been my life’s path and that meant learning to establish healthy boundaries and saying no to things that do not feel aligned with me and my core values. […]

Around the World with Eighty Women: Tina’s Story - New Zealand

Although Tina grew up in Germany within a small rural community near Siegen, she found her sense of belonging in New Zealand (NZ), where she’s lived for more than 25 years. The "carefree NZ culture" Tina describes, where "people run around with bare feet in public," appears to be a world away from the “prim and proper” image she associates with her native country, which she puts down to having many “rules and regulations.”

One such rule Tina observed while growing up was that the majority of Germans “seem to live to work” yet are not permitted to do so on Sundays; a ban legally observed under The German Working Hours Act: “On Sundays, everything is closed. You wouldn't even see anyone hanging out their washing.”

When considering her early perceptions of German culture, […]

Retiring the Superwoman:

A Quiet Rebellion That’s Redefining Feminine Leadership

The new CEO mindset is no longer about doing it all – we are embracing a softer power, letting go of perfection, and aligning more with our natural flow. The High Cost of Holding It All. She was highly efficient. She was accomplished. She looked the part. She was exhausted. Not that long ago, this was me, fully immersed in a six-figure role with all the perks.

Somewhere along the way, I started to embody the Superwoman myth, and I made it my identity. Hustle harder, push through, take the long hours — all with a smile, of course, and keeping up appearances at all costs.

I found out the hard way that I couldn’t have my cake and eat it, too. My career and my life were slowly burning me out. After years of constant stress I had anxiety, depression, and a complete breakdown. I also had unresolved grief of losing five pregnancies while trying to manage […]

Something she is very passionate and unapologetic about.
Has burnout been accepted as the inevitable side effect of ambition? More women are finding themselves at a crossroads—especially as they enter midlife. Externally we’re very accomplished and successful yet internally completely exhausted. The ‘superwoman myth’ we’ve been sold have left many of us overworked, overstretched, and overwhelmed. […]

Tina Kapp-Kailea of The Femmepreneur Pathfinder On How the World’s Best Leaders Build Burnout-Free Workplace Cultures

An Interview With Chad Silverstein

Thank you so much for joining us in this interview series. Before we dive into our discussion, our readers would love to “get to know you” a bit better. Can you share with us the backstory about what brought you to your specific career path?

My journey to the work I do was shaped by my own lived experience with burnout. At the time, I thought burnout was a mere catchphrase, just a term for stress. As a high-achieving executive, I thrived on the hustle, and stress was simply the norm, right? That was until my body and mind hit a breaking point. Like many women in leadership, I had internalized the belief that success required self-sacrifice, but it was slowly destroying me. […]

Your Brand Speaks Before You Do

What is Embodied Branding and Why It Matters for Women

There comes a season in every woman’s life when she realizes the version of herself the world sees no longer feels like the true version of who she is becoming. Sometimes it’s a subtle tugging from inside. Other times it can roar loudly, clearing out everything she thought she needed to be. Either way — it’s a moment that changes everything.

It’s the moment she stops asking, “What should I build?” And starts remembering, “Who am I really here to be?”

Because there’s a cost to living in a life — or a business — that no longer fits. There’s a quiet exhaustion that comes from holding parts of yourself back. There’s also grief that builds up from leaving your wildest, most honest self outside the walls of what feels “professional” or “acceptable”. We squeeze ourselves into a corporate corset that was never made for us. […]

From Exhausted to Energized: Overcoming & Avoiding Burnout

Tina, thrilled to have you on the platform as I think our readers can really benefit from your insights and experiences. In particular, we’d love to hear about how you think about burnout, avoiding or overcoming burnout, etc.

For me to overcome burnout, I had to learn about all the nuances that burnout can have and understand what it meant. I really wasn’t aware of all the symptoms or the effect that prolonged stress has on the body. I used to believe that being busy and stressed was just normal and that burnout was just a catchphrase.

For years, I was the woman who “had it all”- on paper. The high-powered career, the big title, the relentless drive to achieve more. I had convinced myself that exhaustion was just part of the game, that success required sacrifice, and that stress was just part of the deal. I ignored the sleepless nights, the creeping anxiety, and the way my body begged me to slow down. But I wasn’t listening or in tune - I was too busy. […]

Find the Courage to Be Real and Strength in Authenticity

How Vulnerability Leads to Finding True Strength

Just saying the word can make some of us want to run for cover, right? We associate it with weakness, with letting our guard down, with being exposed—the act of revealing our soft spots to the world. Yet, paradoxically, vulnerability is where true strength is born. It’s in those raw, unfiltered moments—when the mask slips, and the carefully curated facade crumbles—that we discover our deepest power, the power that unlocks our truest nature: our authentic self.

But here’s the catch: society doesn’t exactly celebrate vulnerability or make it easy. From a young age, we’re conditioned to “fit in” and put on masks. We’re told to “be strong”, “power through,” and “hold it together”. Especially as women, the pressure feels relentless. We juggle impossible expectations—to be successful but not intimidating, nurturing but not weak, […]

Discover how showing up as your true self can transform your life - raw, real, and empowered. Vulnerability: The Gateway to Self-Love
Vulnerability - just saying the word can make us want to retreat, doesn’t it? It feels raw, uncomfortable, and far too exposing.

We’ve been taught to associate vulnerability with weakness, with losing control. Yet, when we dare to lean into it, vulnerability reveals itself as the birthplace of true strength. It’s in those unguarded, honest moments that we connect with the essence of who we are.

The Masks We Wear
From a young age, most of us learn to put on a brave face. We’re told to “be strong,” to “power through,” and to “hold it together.”

For women especially, the pressure can feel relentless. We’re expected to juggle success, nurture relationships, and somehow stay composed through it all. In the process, we bury the parts of ourselves that feel too tender, too messy, or simply not good enough. […]

For years, Tina epitomized corporate success, climbing the ladder, and achieving goals she once thought would bring fulfilment. Yet, despite these accomplishments, she felt a deep emptiness and disconnect from her true self. Exhausted and depleted, she realized she was living by external expectations rather than her own values. […]

Let’s talk triggers…
Do you ignore them? Are you even aware of them?

Triggers activate something. Usually, an emotional reaction, typically because of arousing feelings or memories associated with a negative or traumatic experience. They can be something seen, heard, felt, or even read.

Now, I want you to be really, bareit-all, confession-time, honest –with yourself… distorting who I was, eternally people-pleasing in search of acceptance and love.

What was your FIRST reaction when you saw the picture above?

Did you feel inspired? Happy the woman looks so content? Or simply thought, wow, I wish I had the courage to be photographed like that. […]

Exclusive with Tina K Kailea, Founder of Femmepreneur Pathfinder

Here we sit down with Tina to learn more about her journey as an entrepreneur.
Q. TELL US A LITTLE MORE ABOUT YOUR JOURNEY AS AN ENTREPRENEUR – HOW DID YOU GET STARTED? WHAT INSPIRED YOU?

Tina: I started The Femmepreneur Pathfinder to help other women find happiness in their work again, reclaim balance, and rekindle their zest for life in full alignment with being an embodied woman. We have been led to believe that if we want to have a successful career, we must hang up our femininity and buy into predisposed ideas of what corporate structure looks like. That structure nearly broke me, and it took years to come back from it. […]
